Welcome! Common Ground is a small Christian fellowship which serves the Gruening Park housing community in Juneau, Alaska, showing them the love of Jesus Christ.

Common Ground serves Gruening Park through seasonal and as-needed projects. Our biggest service project is Summer Lunch, where we provide lunches to the Gruening Park kids for the entire summer until school starts. During the rest of the year, we provide Family Night events for the Gruening Park residents once a month. Visit our Service Projects page to learn more about them.

Sunday Services are casual and family friendly. We meet at Gruening Park’s community building. Please note that the front door of the light blue community building will have a “Closed” sign, but the door is open.

Sunday services are led by Gary Leder and typically a brunch potluck is provided. After brunch, announcements are presented, commencing the Worship and Bible Study portion of the service.  We are currently studying the Book of Matthew.
